The Soul Asylum
The Soul Asylum I had the pleasure yesterday of taking the time to meet some cool local businesses like us. It’s crucial to know your community if you are going to be an active business in it.
One of the benefits is working together and making friends that have the same idea of owning a successful business. And can help with sharing struggles that come with running your own business. And sharing ideas that have helped get them through these struggles.
Also, the positive side of things helps with ideas that you might want to try to be more successful. I met some very neat locals yesterday and one of those is a business that really stands out and that’s The Soul Asylum located in The Haunted Mineral Springs Mall Alton Illinois.
Now they say the mall is haunted and I did feel like I was being followed out but turned around to find no one there! Hmmm. The Soul Asylum has creepy stuff and it’s so cool and some of it is a bit even scary. If you are into the weird and unexplainable things in life this is a must-visit!
CJ’s Juicery
CJ’s Juicery – Now this place is an inspiration for me personally to start eating and drinking more health conscious and letting go of some of those Tasty Cakes and Pepsi.
I walked in and the first thing I saw was the owner working on a juice that was filled with veggies and even a stalk of celery. The owner and the other staff were very pleasant to speak with and extremely interested in what Radical Online Radio was doing.
This was an exceptionally clean environment and a warming atmosphere. They also have live entertainment from fellow musicians from the local Alton area. Music & good tasting healthy food and drinks, which is a great combination. We would highly recommend you visit CJ’s Juicery. Tell them we sent you and enjoy some food and drinks that will help you with your better healthy life. CJ’s is in Downtown Alton, 415 Ridge Street Alton; IL. This is a place you will want to return to and get healthy every day.

This must be one of the best-smelling places we visited! As soon as the door opened the aroma of fresh ground coffee overpowered all senses of smell.
This time of the year makes a great tasting coffee even better and we found this place to not only smell good, but it was exceptionally clean and large enough to have a family or business gathering with the amenities of food and drink.
The staff was very helpful and also interested in what we have going on at Radical Online Radio If you’re looking for an event space, The Post Commons is called by locals “A living room for Alton”, functioning as a coffee shop, brunch kitchen, and event space. Open for dine-in & take-out!

We found this Tattoo & Piercing Shop to be very cool! It was remarkably clean and that is especially important for this sort of business, and they are complying for sure. Lots of pictures of work that has been performed by the artists and looked very professional. If you are in the market for some Tattoo & Piercing this should be on your list to check out! Cool People
It was a very enjoyable time meeting so many cool and interesting people and businesses while making good connections for growing our radio station and that would not be possible without all of you and our local community getting involved with our awesome music platform. Communicating with the community about our radio station was a great example of music being a language we all understand all around the world and here locally in our hometown Alton Illinois.
We will be visiting lots more businesses soon so we can have the opportunity to connect with all of them.
